Our virtual gifts give our volunteer rehoming teams the vital support they need to rescue hens from slaughter and help them find loving new homes. When you give a gift, you’re helping both the hens and the volunteers who care for them.

Virtual gifts are a simple, heartfelt way to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and special moments while supporting the British Hen Welfare Trust. Each gift represents an act of care: a van journey to bring hens from farm to back garden, cosy bedding to keep them warm, or a vet check to help them recover and thrive. These gifts are symbolic: they show how your donation makes a difference, and your contribution will be used where it’s needed most, helping us work as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Choosing a gift

All our virtual gifts help hens find safe, happy new homes. You can choose between two downloadable certificate styles:

• Personalised: With space to add who the gift is to and from.
• Non-personalised: A simple certificate without customisation.

These downloadable gift cards make lovely presents — and, most importantly, they fund the practical help hens need on the ground.
