With protein rich seeds and cereals. Just add hot water to create a nutritious warming porridge that your hens will love. Poultry Porridge is the perfect way to warm up your girls on a cold winter’s morning. 

What is it?

Poultry Porridge is a nutritious porridge filled with delicious oats, protein rich seeds, cereals and irresistible ground aniseed, Feed as a treat, as part of a balanced diet. It may be fed in the morning or evening. Just add boiling water to create a porridge-like consistency and allow to cool a little before feeding.

What is it for?

We know that chickens need to eat more in cold weather in order to maintain their body temperature and stay warm. Lots of people still worry that their chickens will get cold and like to give porridge to warm them up. However, straight porridge oats don’t make a good porridge for chickens as they will not provide enough nutrients for egg production or feather growth.  We created a healthier porridge for chickens so you can treat your hens and do them some good at the same time! Poultry Porridge should be fed alongside layers pellets, not instead of them.
